End of Club Trips

Our end of club trips offer a unique opportunity and experience for the children. Whilst children may go on school trips throughout the year, this is an opportunity for them to go on trips and visits with a different group of people. They’ll get to enjoy time with their peers whilst meeting new people from other year groups or schools who they’d never otherwise get to experience the fun of a trip with. Research also shows that trips for children help build confidence and develop independence!

Following the huge success of our end of club trip to Twinlakes Park this Easter, we are delighted to announce that we are planning a trip to Twycross Zoo, Leicestershire, this summer!

The trip will be taking place on Friday 23rd August 2024. We will be travelling by private coach, which will be leaving at 9:00am and will be returning at approximately 5:30pm.

We believe that Twycross Zoo is the perfect location for our next trip and is guaranteed to be a fun, enjoyable and safe experience for the children. Trips such as visits to Twycross Zoo are great for helping children get an understanding of animals, conservation, and why different species are important. Zoo trips are especially great for those that aren't fully comfortable around animals. With so much to see and do at the zoo, it will be the ultimate day out this summer for all the children. Twycross Zoo boasts an impressive 80-acre site, home to over 500 animals of 125 different species from all around the world, making it a perfect day out. The day will be filled with exploring the animals habitats, playing in the soft play areas, visiting the petting areas and getting up close and personal with the animals with the feeding experiences. Our children will also take part in a private group workshop and expedition, delivered by the educational visits team at the zoo.

The cost of the trip will be £46.50 per child. We would love for your child to be able to join us on this trip to make some special memories and have tried to keep the cost as low as possible. This fee only covers our expenses of running the trip including the coach, entry ticket to the zoo and staff for the day - nothing more.

Your child’s safety will always be our top priority. We will be visiting the site ahead of the trip to complete a detailed risk assessment. We will ensure research and appropriate measures are taken to ensure all realistic safety precautions are in place.

Parents/carers of children who attend our Before and After School Club will receive an exclusive membership discount automatically added to their account to use on all Holiday Club bookings.

Support with the cost of childcare

We are committed to supporting parents and carers with the cost of childcare. Wherever possible we will always try to accept childcare vouchers, please talk to us to check that we are able to accept vouchers from your childcare voucher schemes and to allow us time to register with the required schemes. We are already registered to accept payments from most childcare voucher providers (see image below) as well as the tax-free childcare scheme.
