An Introduction to Smiles of Quorn

Smiles of Quorn is a multi-award-winning, independent and family-run out of school club, fully insured and Ofsted registered. We were created to give families a safe, happy and stimulating childcare option that feels like home — but we also want to be different. Our aim is to provide care that feels special, with variety, warmth and fun at the centre of everything we do.

Led by Rachel, our award-winning owner and manager, and supported by a caring team of playworkers, we provide wraparound care during term time and an exciting holiday club when school is out. Whether children are with us before school, after school or for full days in the holidays, they enjoy a mix of free play and planned activities designed to spark imagination, build confidence and support wellbeing.

We’re based at The Deep End, Rawlins, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy. For families at St Bartholomew’s Primary School, we also provide a supervised daily walk to and from school, giving children a safe, social way to travel and a smooth transition between school and club.

Research shows that children benefit from breaking up their day with play, creativity and social time. At Smiles, that’s exactly what we offer. Our sessions make the most of fantastic facilities, including spacious indoor areas, outdoor courts and pitches, grass fields, and our woodland Forest School. From arts and crafts to sports, dance, construction, mindfulness, den building and more, there’s always plenty to do — with children free to choose the activities that interest them most.

At Smiles, children are at the very heart of everything we do. We value each child as an individual and want them to feel happy, safe and proud of what they achieve here. Parents can relax knowing their children are well cared for and genuinely enjoy their time with us.
